Sarah Moore
I make earth-friendly and eco-friendly textile art and jewelry. My work is inspired by nature: from the ocean to the night sky. I source almost all my materials—around 99%—from small women- or family-owned artisans and businesses. I use organic recycled cotton rope, organic plant-based cords (hemp, ramie and linen), upcycled silk, raw crystals, coconut shell beads, wooden beads and seed beads, as well as treasures from the ocean and forest (shells, driftwood, bamboo, sea stars and sea urchins). I want to make art that makes everyone feel good. I feel good making it and people can feel good having it in their home or on their body. I’ve been creating and selling my art since 2015. I live in Honolulu with my husband and son. Along with creating my art, I love surfing, traveling and hiking. I’m a stay-at-home mom and homeschooler / artist. Before I became a mom I wore many other hats, I was an English teacher and journalist in Korea, then a yoga teacher in Thailand and Bali and a certified Ayurveda counselor.

Art Market with Amy Hart
Join us at the Design Management Hawaii studio in Kapolei to meet our October Art Market feature, Amy Hart! Her ocean treasures will be displayed for your viewing and shopping all day from 12p.m. - 6p.m.
We always have snacks and refreshments for you to enjoy while you admire her aquatic works. Stop by the studio on Saturday, October 14 to see for yourself and hang out with your neighborhood art enthusiasts.
Amy Hart
Artist Amy Hart has lived on the North Shore of Oahu since 2008. Her love of Hawai’i and the ocean inspires her art. In 2012, Flattery Designs started as a jewelry business that arose from Amy’s lifelong love of shell collecting, which began on the east coast as a child. Amy uses Hawaiian shells and sea glass found on the beach to make fun, beachy jewelry.
In 2019, Amy discovered the medium of resin and a whole new art world opened. Creating ocean waves out of resin is mesmerizing and each piece is always a one of a kind! Sometimes she even combines her love of jewelry making and resin into beautifully crafted wearable art pieces.

Heather Anders
“Seeing the world through my art. My choices of vibrant colors and whimsical images are always peaceful, dreamy, brilliantly cheerful human characteristics which are dear to my heart and this is what I share. Creating from my imagination, my designs employ Hawaiian earth tones painted in acrylic and India inks. I incorporate traditional and creative Polynesian Tapa patterns, draped around familiar Hawaiian imagery like the honu. The finished works represent collective memories of Hawaiian life and experiences, mementos to be shared by all. This is my way of perpetuating the spirit of Aloha.”

Art Market with Holly Weber and Tiger Mosier
Meet and shop local artists Tiger Mosier and Holly Weber at KN Design Art Market.
Holly’s realistic resin seascapes complement the handcrafted ironworks of Tiger Mosier, creating 3D art, reminiscent of Hawai‘i.
This event will be at KN Design Studio in Kapolei from 12pm - 6pm with a variety of their works for sale. Come by any time and meet Tiger and Holly!
Artist Bio
As a native Hawaiian, it is my utmost privilege to share the Aloha Spirit with everyone I meet. It is my desire for others to experience Hawaii's natural beauty, island culture, and rich history. I often take my family, friends, and guest hiking, snorkeling, and kayaking, all the while passing on to them any knowledge or stories that will inspire, and help them to appreciate Hawaii like I do. My wife calls these adventures, "Tiger Tours!"
I also enjoy expressing the beauty of Hawaii through my art. I use my forty-two years of experience welding at Pearl Harbor to fabricate sculptures out of either steel, aluminum, or copper. Through various burning and welding techniques, I create sculptures of Hula dancers, ocean life, and ancient petroglyphs of Hawaii. Each piece is hand-crafted, so no two are the same. It is my hope that my art will serve to remind you of your fondest memories of Hawaii.
I am blessed to live on Oahu's westside with my wife, Diane. We enjoy our island lifestyle with our children and grandchildren.
Artist Bio
Holly has always had a love and passion for art that runs deep, as she has always had an intense desire to create from an early age. It wasn’t until recent years that Holly grabbed the opportunity to pursue, develop and refine her skills as a professional artist.
Holly’s artistic background is vast with a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from California State University Long Beach and a study abroad program in Italy through the University of Georgia. She is experienced in oil, acrylic, charcoal, and ceramics. After a return to Hawaii three years ago, Holly was inspired by the beauty of the islands and her art began to mimic her surroundings with ocean inspired mixed media paintings.
Holly’s work portrays unique, vibrant, and dynamic seascapes that encompass the deep blue and turquoise hues that the ocean offers with the use of acrylic paint and epoxy resin. The high gloss finish of the resin depicts the movement and grace of the ocean while the acrylic underlay mimics the sand and allows a textural contrast. The mix of mediums creates a mysterious depth and hyper realistic feel which is often mistaken for drone footage.
Holly and her family live on the west side of Oahu, a beautiful and inspiring place to call home that gives life to her work.

A little about Patricia…
Patricia was born and raised in South America, Brazil.
“As a child I loved creating things with my hands. Playing with mud and wild clay was my favorite thing to do. From making animal sculptures, to mud castles to birthday cakes. after graduating high school at 17 years old, I moved to Japan, to study the art of massage therapy. While living there I was very inspired and fascinated by Japanese Pottery, something about the simplicity and elegance enticed me even more to it.
Fast forward getting married and moving to Hawaii in 2000, it was hard and challenging getting use to the culture and the language. In 2007, I was introduced to my first pottery class, as soon as I touched that piece of clay I knew this is what I was meant to do for the rest of my life.
As a pottery and ceramic artist, I take a lot of pride at my work. My designs are inspired by nature, such as the ocean, blue skies and green forests. Each and every single one of my pieces are made by hand or on the pottery wheel. I make sure every piece has its own personality and everything I make is one-of-a-kind. You will never find the same exact piece twice. It will be forever yours.
My mission is to make durable and high quality stoneware ceramic pieces that are unique to add beauty to any home or working space.”

More About the Artists
Alina Murray
I'm born and raised in Hawai‘i. I am inspired by my grandfather, who was a talented, jeweler designer, and engraver also the owner of Hawai‘i Goldsmith. The name for my small business, Emmanalani’s Creations is from my daughter Emma, who has inspired me to go forth in this journey, and she is my biggest fan , I love to see my jewelry on my friends and family. I hope it brings them as much joy as it does to me.
Jan Scroggs
I’m Jan Scroggs. I would like to introduce you to my most recent endeavor in my art career. After 30+ years as a corporate graphic designer and photographer, Four years ago I retired from the business world and I have happily reacquainted myself with the non-commercial side of art. I considered several areas of art, but have chosen to work in a format that allows for freedom of expression without boundaries, resin art. I find that you do not control resin as much as it controls you. With that in mind you have to be more open and flexible in how you create.
I have lived on Oahu for 22 years and have visited continually since 1971. Living in Hawaii we are blessed with an abundance of intense colors and dramatically lit subject matter. I like to think I take a somewhat unique approach to presenting a view of the islands. Working with alcohol inks, a variety of resin pigments as well as acrylic paint and ink, there is no end to the possibilities. When I create I like to consider how art can serve more than one purpose. Basically, “utilitarian art”. So you will find much of my art is in the form of coasters, trays, lazy Susan’s, clocks, charcuterie boards, solid resin serving boards as well as paintings. All of my work is meant to reflect the beauty and drama of Hawaii.
